CHALLENGE

An opportunity for a unique collaboration with Wurlitzer (family of brands belonging to Gibson Guiter Corp.) and Klipsch Audio Technologies to develop a digital jukebox for the home by taking the original Wurlitzer Jukebox and evolve it to a 21st century user.

PROCESS

Leveraging a component layout that Wurlitzer had developed, combined with Pulse consumer research and traditional ideation, create a bandwidth of market solutions for a series of products.

BENEFIT

Through research and validation design, product selection was narrowed down to two solutions which have become the flagship models for Wurlitzer.

RESULT

Final product offering combines the audio capabilities of a 2.1 sound system by Klipsch, wireless 802.11b remote navigation, and a digital library web-enabled jukebox to provide high-end audio quality for the home.
