MINIMASS

CHALLENGE

Working with Purdue University’s Alfred Mann Institute and chemistry researcher R. Graham Cooks team, create visuals for a new product in the mass spectrometry market for medical applications.

PROCESS

Turnkey design development of a disposable cartridge and mini mass spectrometry appliance for public relations and investment opportunities.

BENEFIT

New visualization helps the core team communicate opportunities with a small tabletop version of mass spectrometry.

RESULT

This new technology has resulted in a spinout company called QuantIon, based in Indiana, that develops mini mass spectrometry systems for therapeutic drug monitoring.
